Disclosure: affiliate links, our own products, and how we review
Last updated: 25 October 2026. This version applies from the date it is published on insightore.in.
insightore.in is run by Indies Groups (proprietor: Santanu Saha), based in India ("we", "us"). This page explains how we make money and how that could affect what you read here.
The short version: if a link earns us money or a product is our own, we say so on that page. Right now we have no affiliate links.
How we make money
1. Affiliate links
We don't have any affiliate links at the moment. If we join an affiliate programme in future, we'll list it here, label pages that use its links "Ad · Affiliate" at the top, and mark each link "(paid link)". If you click one of those links and buy, the company pays us a commission. Your price stays the same.
2. Our own products
We make and sell our own digital products, such as templates and guides. They are sold through our sales pages, which are built on systeme.io.
- Buyers in India pay in Indian rupees (INR) through Razorpay. For these orders, we are the seller.
- Buyers outside India pay in US dollars (USD) through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for those orders. You buy from Lemon Squeezy, and the product is licensed to you by us.
Every product comes with a 7-day refund, and a refund at any time if a file is broken or not as described (see our Refund Policy).
Either way, the product is ours and we earn money when you buy it. Whenever we recommend one of our own products, we say so ("Our product").
3. Sponsored content and free products
Sometimes a company may pay us, or send us a product or a free account, to review or feature it. When that happens, the content is labelled "Ad", "Sponsored by [Brand]" or "Free product from [Brand]" at the top, and on screen and out loud in videos. We have no sponsorships at the moment.
Our opinions are our own
Paying us never buys a positive review. A commission never decides our ranking, and a company can't approve what we write before we publish.
How we review
Every review or recommendation says which of these it is based on:
- Hands-on: we used the tool ourselves, on a real account, for the work described. We say roughly how long and on which plan.
- Desk research: the piece is based on the company's own pricing, help and policy pages and published documentation, not hands-on testing. We label it "Desk Research" and say so in the piece.
Right now, every review on InsightOre is desk research. We haven't published any hands-on tests.
Prices, plan limits and features change often. We date them ("as of [date]"), so please check the company's own page before you buy.
When we compare tools, we compare like with like (same plan level, same billing period), explain the basis for the comparison, and, once we have affiliate links, tell you which of the options pay us a commission.
AI-assisted content
Content on InsightOre is drafted with AI tools, with human oversight. Before anything is published, prices, plan details and policies are checked against the vendors' own pages, and every check is dated. Santanu Saha then reads every post before it goes live. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.
We do not use AI to write fake reviews or testimonials, or to claim experiences we haven't had.
If we use an AI-generated or AI-altered image, voice or video in promotional content, we label it, for example "AI-generated image" or "Voice is AI-generated".
No earnings or results guarantee
Our content is about tools, workflows and productivity systems. We do not promise that you will earn money, save a particular amount of time, or get any particular result from following our content, using a tool we mention, or buying our products. Your results depend on your skills, effort, circumstances and many things outside our control.
Any example figures we show are illustrations, or our own experience, and are labelled as such. They are not typical or guaranteed results.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. Where we discuss topics like GST, invoicing or receiving foreign payments, it is general information, dated, with links to official sources. Please speak to a qualified professional (for example a Chartered Accountant) about your own situation. See our Terms of Use.
